The Alresford Golf Club lies to the south of the town and unless you approach it from the south then it can only be reached by way of the town itself. As you pass through the town, from east or west, look for a road sign B3046 (Jacklyn's Lane) to Cheriton. Follow this road towards the south. After passing under a railway bridge the road climbs fairly steeply and after about 3/4 of a mile the road takes you over a bridge which crosses the (A31) Alresford by-pass. You will then find the Golf Club coming up shortly afterwards on your left.
